Waiver & Cancellation Policy
Training Waiver
Please download and sign our training waiver prior to your course dates.
If you have to cancel your IRATA rope access training course;
Course Fees
A minimum (non-refundable) deposit of 50% is to be paid at the time of booking to secure a spot on any of the full IRATA L1, L2 or L3 training courses. All funds must be received a minimum 7 days before course commencement. Payment can be made via electronic funds transfer, credit card or debit card. If for any reason you need to cancel RRA reserve the right to book you onto a future course subject to availability.
Cancellations, Refund Policy & Transfer of Course Dates
Please email training@redropegroup.com.au for all cancellations, refunds and requests for transfer/change of course dates. We will endeavour to respond to you within 72 hours.
Medical Cancellations
In the event of cancelling due to a medical reason, with less than 7 days until your course commences, proof of medical issue preventing training is required. If proof is provided, you will be rescheduled to another date, subject to availability.
Cancellation More than 10 Working days from Course Commencement
If advised via email of a cancellation more than 10 business days prior to the Course commencement date, we will provide the candidate with the following options;
1. Refund the course fees paid minus $350 Admin Fee
Or;
2. Transfer the Technician to another course date (subject to availability). Technician must attend a course within 6 months of original booking. Course is non-transferable.
Cancellation 5 Business Days or Less from Course Commencement
1.RRA reserve the right to forfeit any future courses for last minute cancellations. Fees will not be refunded.
Or;
2. Transfer the Technician to another course date (subject to availability). Technician must attend a course within 6 months of original booking. Course is non-transferable.
VOC / Refresher Training
Cancellations for VOC’s or Refresher Training made with less than 5 business days notice are not eligible for a refund or transfer. This policy applies to all VOC and Refresher Training bookings.
Transfers
Requests for transfers to alternate course dates can be arranged if advised via email within 10 business days of course commencement date. Please send email to training@redropegroup.com.au. These requests are subject to course availability and owners discretion. Course is non-transferable.
Non Attendance (No Show)
If a technician fails to attend a program, course fees will not be refunded or allocated to another course.
General
Red Rope Access reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses. Where a fee refund is due to a candidate such a refund will be provided within 30 business days.
Courses are non-transferable.
Late Policy
Any candidates arriving later than one hour after the course start time will be unable to join the course for that week, and the course fees will not be refunded. IRATA states a minimum 30 hours training time, therefore this must be adhered to
Course Withdrawal Due to Illness
If a participant is unable to continue a course due to illness or injury, a valid medical certificate must be provided. Subject to course availability and sole discretion of RRA, the participant may be offered a transfer to a future course.
Course Postponements
If you need to postpone your course, RRA will allow one course transfer to an alternative course date, subject to availability. If further postponements are required a new booking will be applicable. Any postponed course must be rebooked and completed within 6 months of the original booking otherwise a new booking and applicable course fees will apply.
Course Deferrals
If you request to defer or postpone your booked course to a later date, your original booking will become non-refundable. Any fees paid will be held as a credit and may be transferred once to another available course date. The rescheduled course must be completed within six (6) months of the original course date. Once a deferral has been requested, no refund will be provided if you later cancel, are unable to attend, or choose not to proceed with the rescheduled course. All course transfers are subject to availability and at the discretion of Red Rope Access.
